Resolution

WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 21-038, Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) approval is required for all contracts, projects, agreement, grant applications, contract amendments and change orders involving expenditures totaling between $50,000 and $200,000; and

WHEREAS, the Public Works Director executed an Annual Structural Consultant agreement with Tran Tech Engineering, LLC on July 19, 2019, to provide services related to structural evaluations, structural design, bridge ratings, bridge inspections, additional structural engineering and bridge program support as needed; and

WHEREAS, Supplement No 1 was executed by the Public Works Director on April 8, 2020, to increase the total by $40,000 for additional task orders needed for the bridge program; and

WHEREAS, Supplement No 2 was executed by the Public Works Director on March 19, 2021, to increase the total contract by an additional $40,000 for additional work required on Task Order 1 - Ferrier Bridge Damage Assessment and a new task order #8 to allow for annual bridge load ratings.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that a consultant contract and Supplement Nos. 1 and 2 previously executed by Public Works are hereby approved by the Board of County Commissioners.
