This MOU is between Lewis County Public Health & Social Services and The Equity Institute to provide case management services to Spanish speakers and other marginalized persons utilizing the shelter services in Lewis County. The MOU utilizes funds from the Department of Commerce ESG-CV funds allocated to Lewis County.

Resolution

WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC), Lewis County, Washington, has reviewed Agreement #EquityESG-CV with Equity Institute to provide funds to be used for case management services to Spanish speakers and other marginalized persons utilizing the shelter services; and

WHEREAS, funding in the amount of $195,000 through the Department of Commerce ESG-CV funds is provided for the period of December 1, 2020, through September 30, 2022; and

WHEREAS, it appears to be in the best public interest to authorize the execution of said contract.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that Agreement #EquityESG-CV between Lewis County and Equity Institute to provide funds to be used to provide case management in the amount of $195,000 from December 1, 2020, through September 30, 2022, is hereby approved and the Director of Public Health & Social Services is authorized to sign the same.
