Resolution
APPROVE MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN VALLEY VIEW HEALTH CENTER, CASCADE COMMUNITY HEALTHCARE AND LEWIS COUNTY TO DEVELOP A CONSORTIUM
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC), Lewis County, Washington, has reviewed the Memorandum of Understanding between Lewis County and Valley View Health Center and Cascade Community Healthcare to recruit, review, and select Primary Care and Specialist Providers upon receipt of HRSA Rural Health Care Services Outreach Program funding; and
WHEREAS, the MOU will last May 1, 2021, through April 30, 2025, in the amount of $40,000; and
WHEREAS, it appears to be in the best public interest to authorize the execution of said contract for Lewis County.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the MOU between Lewis County, Valley View Health Center, and Cascade Community Healthcare in the amount of $40,000 from May 1, 2021, through April 30, 2025, is hereby approved and the Director of Public Health & Social Services is authorized to sign the same.
