WHEREAS, the Lewis County Outdoor Recreation and Tourism (LCORT) Advisory Commission is a new commission established by Resolution 20-450; and

WHEREAS, the LCORT Advisory Commission consists of seven members of the public appointed by the Lewis County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) and one Lewis County Commissioner; and

WHEREAS, the following individuals have indicated a desire and willingness to serve on the LCORT Advisory Commission: Ben Boylan, Mary Kay Nelson, Eric Shoblom, Janene Ritchie, Tracy Croshaw, Ted Jackson and Chris Brewer; and

WHEREAS, the BOCC wishes to make the following appointments to the LCORT Advisory Commission:

7	Ted Jackson	Two years: Jan. 1 to Dec. 31, 2022	Two years

The term for each position will begin Jan. 1, 2021. Terms will be staggered in one and two-year terms for the initial two years. The one-year term positions will become two-year terms in 2022.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the BOCC hereby appoints Ben Boylan, Mary Kay Nelson, Eric Shoblom, Janene Ritchie, Tracy Croshaw, Ted Jackson, Chris Brewer and Commissioner-elect Dr. Lindsey Pollock to the Lewis County Outdoor Recreation and Tourism Advisory Commission for terms beginning Jan. 1, 2021, and ending based on their position, as outlined above.
