Summary:

The Public Health & Social Services Advisory Board was organized per Resolution 17-153. Per Lewis County Public Health & Social Services Advisory Board bylaws, membership on the Board comprises of no less than nine regular members. Appointments are for a three-year term, with reappointment by the BOCC. Three regular positions will terminate on December 31, 2020.  All three members are willing to be reappointed for another term from January 1, 2021 through December 31, 2023:  Matt Patten, Becky Rieger, Nancy Keaton.

Resolution

WHEREAS, Resolution 17-153 established the Lewis County Public Health & Social Services (PHSS) Advisory Board; and

WHEREAS, membership on the Board shall be comprised of nine members.  With the expiration of three members’ terms on December 31, 2020, Matt Patten (Behavioral Health), Becky Rieger (Environmental), and Nancy Keaton (Health Education/Prevention) have expressed an interest in being reappointed to serve on the Lewis County PHSS Advisory Board effective January 1, 2021 through December 31, 2023; and

WHEREAS, the Board needs members to fill these positions; and

WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has reviewed applications of the above individuals and recommends reappointment to the PHSS Advisory Board.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners that Matt Patten, Becky Rieger, and Nancy Keaton be reappointed to the PHSS Advisory Board from January 1, 2021 through December 31, 2023.
