Resolution

WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC), Lewis County, Washington, has reviewed Memorandum of Understanding, #GatherShelterCM, with Gather Church to oversee, administer, and manage case management, prevention and support services for persons utilizing homeless shelter services; and

WHEREAS, funding in the amount of $243,700 from the Department of Commerce Emergency Solutions Grant-COVID (ESG-CV) is provided for the period of November 1, 2020 through June 30, 2022; and

WHEREAS, it appears to be in the best public interest to authorize the execution of said agreement.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that Memorandum of Understanding, #GatherShelterCM, between Lewis County and Gather Church to provide funds to oversee and case management in the amount of $243,700 from November 1, 2020 through June 30, 2022 is hereby approved and the Director of Public Health & Social Services is authorized to sign the same.
