APPROVAL OF AMENDMENT 4 OF THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN LEWIS COUNTY AND KMB ARCHITECTS FOR CAPITAL PLAN PROJECTS; COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT, CAMPUS PARKING AND CAMPUS INTEGRATION PROJECTS
WHEREAS, Lewis County has developed a 10-year Capital Plan to enable the County to provide safe, efficient, effective and needed services to the citizens of Lewis County; and
WHEREAS, Lewis County has entered into a Master Agreement with KMB Architects of Olympia to provide planning and design services for the various projects, including additional campus parking, renovation of a space for Community Development and Environmental Health Services and exterior upgrades to the Historic Royal Bakery Building and Health Building; and
WHEREAS, KMB Architects has prepared an Amendment #4 to the Master agreement outlining scopes and fees for each of the projects totaling $522,976.00 and the fees are appropriate for each project as per the terms of the Master Agreement.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners approves Amendment #4, Community Development and Downtown Projects, for $522,976.00; and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners authorize the Chair of the Board of County Commissioners to sign the same on behalf of Lewis County.
