Resolution

WHEREAS, Lewis County adopted the 2012-2015 Strategic Plan on July 30, 2012, with Resolution No. 12-251; and

WHEREAS, Lewis County identified a need to develop a new Strategic Plan for Lewis County in 2019; and

WHEREAS, Lewis County hired Tanner LLC for Strategic Planning Consulting Services; and

WHEREAS, Tanner LLC has facilitated the development of a five-year, community-based vision and strategic plan with the assistance of a volunteer citizens Strategic Planning Advisory Committee (SPAC), Lewis County citizens and the input of all elected and appointed officials of Lewis County (included as Exhibit ‘A’); and

WHEREAS, the County Manager, the SPAC and Tanner LLC recommends the Board of County Commissioners adopt the 2020-2025 Lewis County Strategic Plan as it is in the best interest of the citizens of Lewis County.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the 2020-2025 Lewis County Strategic Plan is adopted as recommended.
