Summary:

A call for bid was issued by the BOCC on September 14, 2020 by resolution 20-315 for the purchase of six pursuit-rated sedan vehicles.  The proposal was advertised in the Chronicle and the Lewis County website.  Public Works received one responsive bid on September 29, 2020.  I-5 Dodge in Chehalis, Washington submitted the only responsive bid for the six pursuit-rated vehicles.

Resolution

WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 20-315, a call for bids was issued on September 14, 2020, for the purchase of six pursuit-rated sedan vehicles; and

WHEREAS, bid quotations have been submitted by contractors as follows:

I-5 Dodge -------- $181,258.50.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that a contract for the purchase of six new pursuit-rated Dodge Charger vehicles shall be awarded to I-5 Dodge in Chehalis, Washington, in the amount of $181,258.50.  Upon presentation of a contract acceptable to the Board of County Commissioners, the Director of Public Works (or his designee) is authorized to sign on behalf of the Board of County Commissioners.
