AWARD OF ARCHITECTURAL AND ENGINEERING SERVICES CONTRACT FOR THE ANIMAL SHELTER PROJECT
WHEREAS, the Lewis County Animal Shelter is near the end of its useful life and is in need of replacement; and
WHEREAS, the Animal Shelter has received a number of bequests from citizens over the years to fund this endeavor; and
WHEREAS, Lewis County issued an RFQ for A/E services relating to this project and has made a selection of a firm from the responses; and
WHEREAS, after negotiation with the selected firm an agreement has been reached.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the contract for Animal Shelter Project design services be awarded to SHKS Architects of Seattle, WA; and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chief of Internal Services is authorized to sign said contract of behalf of the Board of County Commissioners.
