APPROVE AGREEMENT BETWEEN LEWIS COUNTY AND HOPE ALLIANCE TO PROVIDE FUNDS THROUGH THE HOUSING ASSISTANCE UNIT EMERGENCY SOLUTIONS COVID19 GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $79,573
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC), Lewis County, Washington, has reviewed Agreement, #H01-0106-20, with Hope Alliance to provide funds for prevention rental assistance for individuals and families who are homeless or receiving homeless assistance; and
WHEREAS, funding in the amount of $79,573 through the housing assistance unit Emergency Solutions COVID19 Grant is provided for the period of August 1, 2020, through June 30, 2022; and
WHEREAS, it appears to be in the best public interest to authorize the execution of said contract.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that Agreement, #H01-0106-20 between Lewis County and Hope Alliance to provide funds for prevention rental assistance in the amount of $79,573 from August 1, 2020, through June 30, 2022, is hereby approved and the Director of Public Health & Social Services is authorized to sign the same.
