APPROVE AGREEMENT BETWEEN LEWIS COUNTY AND HOUSING RESOURCE CENTER TO PROVIDE FUNDS THROUGH THE HOUSING ASSISTANCE UNIT EVICTION RENTAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM GRANT IN THE AMOUNT OF $87,893
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC), Lewis County, Washington, has reviewed Agreement, #H02-0102-20, with Housing Resource Center (HRC) to provide funds for rental assistance for persons 18-24; and
WHEREAS, funding in the amount of $87,893 through the housing assistance unit Eviction Rental Assistance Program Grant (ERAP) is provided for the period of August 1, 2020, through December 31, 2020; and
WHEREAS, it appears to be in the best public interest to authorize the execution of said contract.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that Agreement, #H02-0102-20 between Lewis County and HRC to provide funds to be used for rental assistance for persons 18-24 per ERAP guidelines in the amount of $87,893 from August 1, 2020, through December 31, 2020, is hereby approved and the Director of Public Health & Social Services is authorized to sign the same.
