WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC), Lewis County, Washington, has reviewed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Lewis County Board of County Commissioners and Bethel Church to use Bethel Church as a temporary alternate location to conduct Lewis County Government business under emergency circumstances that may disrupt normal government operations; and

WHEREAS, the MOU will be effective on the date of the last signature thereto and will continue until rescinded by either party; and

WHEREAS, it appears to be in the best interest of Lewis County to enter into this agreement with Bethel Church for an alternate location where Lewis County Government can carry out its constitutional responsibilities during emergency circumstances.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED the Memorandum of Understanding between the Lewis County Board of County Commissioners and Bethel Church is approved.
