Contract duration is January 1, 2020 through September 30, 2020.

Resolution
APPROVE AMENDMENT BETWEEN SALVATION ARMY AND LEWIS COUNTY TO EXTEND DURATION AND ADD FUNDING FOR THE HOMELESS SHELTER AND ISOLATION & QUARANTINE FACILITY
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC), Lewis County, Washington, has reviewed amendment #SalvationArmy2020B, between Lewis County and The Salvation Army to provide funds for the homeless shelter and the isolation & quarantine facility for homeless prevention for persons who are at risk residing in Lewis County; and
WHEREAS, this amendment extends the duration of the homeless shelter to August 15, 2020, and increases funding up to $56,900; and
WHEREAS, this amendment also extends the duration of the isolation & quarantine facility to September 30, 2020, and increases Stand By up to $29 per hour with a maximum daily rate of $700, and increases the Isolation & Quarantine Activated up to $58.33 per hour with a maximum daily rate of $1,400; and
WHEREAS, it appears to be in the best public interest to authorize the execution of said contract for Lewis County.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that amendment #SalvationArmy2020B between The Salvation Army and Lewis County extending the duration of the homeless shelter to August 15, 2020, funding up to $56,900 and the isolation & quarantine facility to September 30, 2020, for a maximum daily rate up to $700 for Stand By and a maximum daily rate up to $1,400 for Activated is hereby approved and the Director of Public Health & Social Services is authorized to sign the same.
