Resolution

WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC), Lewis County, Washington, has reviewed contract amendment #T01-0011-20-E between Lewis County and The Salvation Army for the period of January 1, 2019, through October 31, 2020; and

WHEREAS, additional funding of $41,334 increases the total amount to $240,736; and

WHEREAS, termination of the agreement is extended from June 30, 2020, through October 31, 2020; and

WHEREAS, contracted services are for homeless prevention for persons at risk residing in Lewis County; and

WHEREAS, it appears to be in the best public interest to authorize the execution of said contract for Lewis County.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that contract amendment #T01-0011-20-E between Lewis County and The Salvation Army increases funding by $41,334 for a total not to exceed $240,736 and extends termination from June 30, 2020, to October 31, 2020, is hereby approved and the Director of Public Health & Social Services is authorized to sign the same.
