Resolution

WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC), Lewis County, Washington, has reviewed Agreement, #20-4613C-116, with the Department of Commerce (DOC) to provide funds to be used to prevent, prepare for, and respond to the Coronavirus pandemic among individuals and families who are homeless or receiving homeless assistance in Lewis County; and

WHEREAS, funding in the amount of $198,017 is provided for the period of July 1, 2020, through June 30, 2022; and

WHEREAS, it appears to be in the best public interest to authorize the execution of said contract.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that Agreement, #20-4613C-116 between Lewis County and DOC to provide funds through the Emergency Solutions Grant – COVID 19 in the amount of $198,017 from July 1, 2020, through June 30, 2022, is hereby approved and the Director of Public Health & Social Services is authorized to sign the same.
