APPOINTMENT OF BRIAN THOMPSON AND GARY GORREMANS TO THE LEWIS COUNTY NOXIOUS WEED CONTROL BOARD
WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention of the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) that there is a vacancy on the Lewis County Noxious Weed Board, in Weed District Two and Three; and
WHEREAS, the term of Brian Thompson of Centralia (District Two), and Gary Gorremans of Winlock (District Three) expired on March 1, 2020, and said members have indicated a desire to continue to serve on said Board; and
WHEREAS, the Lewis County Noxious Weed Board conducted the notice and application process under RCW 17.10.050(2), and recommends these applicants to be appointed to the Board.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Lewis County Board of County Commissioners hereby appoints Brian Thompson (District Two) and Gary Gorremans (District Three) to the Lewis County Noxious Weed Control Board for a term of four years ending on March 1, 2024.
