Summary:

The item listed on Exhibit A is no longer useful to Lewis County.  The attached vehicle has reached its useful life and will be replaced with a new one shortly. Pursuant to Lewis County Code Ordinance 1154A, we recommend this vehicle be transferred to the Lewis County Sheriff's Association.

Resolution

WHEREAS, Lewis County Ordinance 1154A allows for the transfer or sale of surplus property to another governmental agency or qualifying non-profit; and

WHEREAS, Lewis County has one vehicle to declare surplus as described in exhibit A; and

WHEREAS, the Lewis County Sheriff's Association has expressed a use for said surplus item listed in Exhibit A and such use is a benefit to the citizens of Lewis County.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Lewis County Washington that the aforementioned item be declared surplus and donated to the Lewis County Sheriff's Association.
