Resolution

WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) wishes to improve King Road in Lewis County by replacing culvert and placing detour, reconstructing roadway, flattening slopes, crushed surfacing base and top course, hot mix asphalt overlays, shoulder finishing, traffic control, and placing guardrail; and

WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 20-103, the BOCC adopted the 2020 Standard Specifications for road, bridge, and municipal construction and this project shall be performed by contract in accordance with these specifications.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Department of Public Works is instructed to issue a Call for Bids for the King Road Culvert Replacement Project, CMP 1509. Bids for this project shall be submitted to the Clerk of the BOCC (351 N.W. North Street, Room 210, CMS-01, Chehalis, WA 98532) by or before 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 2, 2020, subject to official project addenda that establishes an alternate bid due date or opening time.
