Resolution

WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 19-088 and RCW 36.40.060, notice is given that the Lewis County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) has received the Preliminary Budget for 2027. Copies of the 2027 Preliminary Budget reports are available for review during normal office hours (8 a.m.- 5 p.m. weekdays) in the Budget Department located in the Historic Courthouse, 351 N.W. North Street, Room 209, Chehalis, WA or online at lewiscountywa.gov; and

WHEREAS, the BOCC will hold an informational public meeting on the Lewis County Budget for 2027 beginning at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 10, 2026; and

WHEREAS, the BOCC will hold its public hearings to adopt the 2027 Budget and to fix the amount of the levies upon property in the county for 2027 in the BOCC Hearing Room at or after 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 7, 2026.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED the BOCC will hold an informational public meeting on the Lewis County Budget for 2027 beginning at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 10, 2026; and

NOW THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Clerk of the Board is hereby instructed to proceed with all appropriate and necessary notifications, postings and publications as required by law.
