Summary:

This resolution will approve Supplement No. 3 with NW Heritage Consultant (dba. Cultural Resource Consultants), for the 2025 Annual Cultural Resources contract, ACCR-2025, increasing the amount by $100,000.00 for a new maximum amount payable of $350,000.00.

The supplement is needed to accommodate new and existing task orders for cultural resources assessments and surveys, archaeological excavation permits, project specific monitoring plans, construction monitoring, and monitoring reports.

Resolution

WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 25-088, approval from the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) is required for all Change Orders/Amendments or Addenda that would increase, or cumulatively increase, the total to more than $350,000; and

WHEREAS, the 2025 Annual Cultural Resources contract with NW Heritage Consultants (dba Cultural Resource Consultants), was executed on March 6, 2025, to provide various cultural resources for Lewis County Public Works projects; and

WHEREAS, additional services are required to accommodate new and existing task orders for cultural resource services; and

WHEREAS, Supplement No. 3 will increase the amount payable by $100,000.00 for a new maximum amount payable of $350,000.00, including all applicable tax; and

WHEREAS, Supplement No. 3 of the 2025 Annual Cultural Resource Services contract, ACCR-2025, is funded by the Roads Fund, FEMA Public Assistance grant funds, and WA Recreation and Conservation Office (RCO) Salmon Recovery Funding Board (SRFB) funds.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the BOCC hereby approves Supplement No. 3 of the 2025 Annual Cultural Resource Services contract, ACCR-2025, with NW Heritage Consultants LLC (dba Cultural Resource Consultants), for a maximum amount payable of $350,000, including applicable tax, funded by the Roads Fund, FEMA Public Assistance grant funds and RCO SRFB funds and authorizes the Public Works Director or the County Engineer to sign the agreement.
