Midway Underground provided the lowest responsive bid of $628,238.25. The engineer's estimate was $696,922.19. Public Works staff recommends acceptance of the low bid provided by Midway Underground.

WHEREAS, Midway Underground provided the lowest responsive bid quote of $628,238.25 for the Jackson Highway South Culvert Replacement Project, CRP 2167C, RAP Project No. 2117-01.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the contract for the Jackson Highway South Culvert Replacement Project, CRP 2167C, RAP Project No. 2117-01 shall be awarded to Midway Underground in the amount of $628,238.25 upon the execution of a contract acceptable to the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC). Upon presentation of such a contract, the County Engineer is authorized to sign on behalf of the BOCC.
