Summary:

The Washington State Department of Social and Health Services, Developmental Disabilities Administration contracts with Lewis County to oversee the administration of grant money for services provided to individuals with developmental disabilities who reside in Lewis County. In addition to incoming grant funding, Lewis County oversees the administration of local tax monies that are set aside to support individuals with developmental disabilities.

This subcontract provides funding for Reliable Enterprises to provide Child
Development, Community Information and Education, Recreation, Nutrition, and Fitness
programs for individuals with developmental disabilities who live in Lewis County.

Resolution

WHEREAS, the Lewis County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) has reviewed Contract #R01-0278-26 between Reliable Enterprises and Lewis County; and

WHEREAS, Lewis County oversees the administration of funds from the Washington State Developmental Disabilities Administration as well as local tax monies that are set aside to support individuals with developmental disabilities; and

WHEREAS, this subcontract provides funding for Reliable Enterprises to provide Child Development; Community Information; and Education, Recreation, Nutrition and Fitness services to eligible persons who reside in Lewis County; and

WHEREAS, the contract duration is July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027; and

WHEREAS, the total maximum consideration of this contract is $112,706; and

WHEREAS, it appears to be in the best public interest to authorize the execution of said contract.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the BOCC hereby approves Contract #R01-0278-26 with Reliable Enterprises with a maximum consideration of $112,706 for the term of July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027, funded through the Developmental Disabilities Administration. Upon approval and presentation of the contract, the Director of Public Health & Social Services is authorized to sign the contract, attached hereto as Exhibit A, on behalf of the BOCC.
