Summary:

Approval amendment to agreement with KMB Architects for Capital Plan Projects; Community Development, Campus Parking and Campus Integration Projects, specifically, the county has requested plan revisions be made to the bid documents previously completed in 2024. These changes require revisions to architectural, mechanical, and electrical plans.

Resolution

WHEREAS, Lewis County has developed a 10-year Capital Plan to enable the County to provide safe, efficient, effective and needed services to the citizens of Lewis County; and

WHEREAS, Lewis County has entered into a Master Agreement with KMB Architects of Olympia to provide planning and design services for the various projects, including additional campus parking, renovation of a space for Community Development and Environmental Health Services and exterior upgrades to the Health Building; and

WHEREAS, KMB Architects has prepared an amendment (attached hereto as Exhibit A) to the Master Agreement outlining scopes and fees for additional work totaling $8,782.00, and the fees are appropriate for the work as per the terms of the Master Agreement.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) approves the amendment with KMB Architects (attached hereto as Exhibit A), for $8,782.00; and

NOW THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the BOCC authorizes the Capital Infrastructure Specialist to sign the same on behalf of Lewis County.
