Summary:

Shirley Robinson, owner of property located off Klickitat Creek Road, Mossyrock, has requested that Lewis County accept a donation of her property. The property lies adjacent to Klickitat Creek Road and maybe beneficial to the County for future road projects. This resolution would approve the transfer of the property described on the attached executed Quit Claim Deed from Shirley Robinson to Lewis County. Once accepted by the Board of County Commissioners the Quit Claim Deed will be recorded.

Resolution

WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has reviewed a Quit Claim Deed from Shirley P. Robinson to Lewis County for the donation of property located off Klickitat Creek Road, Mossyrock, described as:

That part of the right of way of SR 12 (PSH No. 5), Mayfield to Klickitat Creek in the E.L. Busey D.L.C. No. 37 in Sections 10 and 15, Township 12 North, Range 2 E, W.M., lying between a line drawn Northerly and radially from the line survey of said SR 12 (PSH No. 5) at Highway Engineer’s Station 157+50 and the West line of the East 147 1/3 rods of said D.L.C. No. 37, and lying Northeasterly of a line drawn parallel with and 75 feet Northeasterly, when measured radially, from SR 12 line survey of SR 12, Klickitat Creek to Mossyrock; and

WHEREAS, the donation maybe beneficial to the County for future road projects; and

WHEREAS, it appears to be in the best public interest to accept the donation of property located off Klickitat Creek Road near Mossyrock from Shirley P. Robinson.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Quit Claim Deed from Shirley P. Robinson for property off Klickitat Creek Road near Mossyrock is hereby approved and accepted for Lewis County by the Board of County Commissioners.
