APPROVE AGREEMENT #2663-69504 BETWEEN THE WASHINGTON STATE DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL AND HEALTH SERVICES, DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES ADMINISTRATION (DSHS DDA), AND LEWIS COUNTY
WHEREAS, the Lewis County Board of County Commissioners has reviewed Agreement #2663-69504 between the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services, Developmental Disabilities Administration (DSHS DDA), and Lewis County; and
WHEREAS, DSHS DDA contracts with Lewis County to administer funding for developmental disabilities services, including supported employment, community inclusion, child development services, county administration, training, and community education activities; and
WHEREAS, the contract duration is July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027; and
WHEREAS, the total maximum consideration for this contract is $1,024,263; and
WHEREAS, it appears to be in the best public interest to authorize the execution of said contract.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Lewis County Board of County Commissioners hereby approves Agreement #2663-69504 with the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services, Developmental Disabilities Administration (DSHS DDA), for Lewis County to administer funding for developmental disabilities services, including supported employment, community inclusion, child development services, county administration, training, and community education activities in the amount of $1,024,263, for the term of July 1, 2026, through June 30, 2027; and the BOCC authorizes the Director of Public Health & Social Services to sign the same.
