Resolution

WHEREAS, Congress reauthorized the Secure Rural Schools and Community Self-Determination Program through 2027; and

WHEREAS, under the Secure Rural Schools and Community Self Determination Act, counties have the option to change their election percentages; and

WHEREAS, the county must elect to allocate from 15 percent to 20 percent of the full county payment to Title II (Resource Advisory Committee [RAC] approved projects) and Title III (specific county approve projects), with no more than 7 percent allocated to Title III.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED Lewis County elects to allocate as follows for Federal fiscal year 2026 for 2027 payments:

• 85 percent to Title I
• 15 percent to Title II
• 0 percent for Title III projects
