Resolution

WHEREAS, the Lewis County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) created the Lewis County Public Facilities District (PFD) pursuant to RCWs 36.100 and 82.14.390 via Resolution 07-247 on Aug. 13, 2007; and

WHEREAS, the BOCC appointed the initial PFD Board of Directors via Resolution 07-248 on Aug. 13, 2007; and

WHEREAS, PFD Board of Directors member Jonathan Meyer, who was appointed via Resolution 22-202, has indicated he does not intend to continue serving after his term expires on Aug. 31, 2026; and

WHEREAS, Centralia resident Leah Sisemore has expressed an interest and willingness to serve on the PFD; and

WHEREAS, Resolution 07-247 established staggered, four-year terms for Board members, with the terms for three positions expiring together and the terms for the two remaining positions expiring together two years later; and

WHEREAS, the BOCC wishes to re-establish the staggered terms set forth by Resolution 07-247.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the BOCC hereby appoints Leah Sisemore to the PFD Board of Directors to represent District 1; and

NOW THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED to re-establish the staggered terms set forth by Resolution 07-247, Leah Sisemore's term shall begin Sept. 1, 2026, and shall expire Aug. 31, 2029.
