Resolution

WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention of the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) that there is an expiration of a sitting member's term on the Lewis County Noxious Weed Control Board, in Weed District One; and

WHEREAS, the term of Katherine Humphrey of Ceres Hill expired on March 1, 2026, and said Weed Board member has expressed desire to continue to serve another term on the Weed Board; and

WHEREAS, Lewis County Noxious Weed Control Board staff conducted the notice and application process for the recommendation and appointment of its members outlined under RCW 17.10.050(2), and the members of the Lewis County Noxious Weed Control Board formally recommend that this applicant be reappointed to the same.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Lewis County Board of County Commissioners hereby reappoints Katherine Humphrey to the Lewis County Noxious Weed Control Board for a term through December 31, 2029.
