Summary:The Department of Commerce contracts with Lewis County to oversee the administration of the Consolidated Homeless Grant (CHG).
This subcontract provides funding for case management and rapid rehousing services to those who are literally or at imminent risk of homelessness in Lewis County.
The purpose of this amendment is to (1) update the scope of work, (2) increase the overall budget, and (3) extend the contract end date.

APPROVE CONTRACT #H02-0258-25 AMENDMENT B BETWEEN HOUSING RESOURCE CENTER AND LEWIS COUNTY
WHEREAS, the Lewis County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) has reviewed contract #H02-0258-25 amendment B between Housing Resource Center and Lewis County; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Commerce contracts with Lewis County to oversee the administration of the Consolidated Homeless Grant (CHG); and
WHEREAS, the purpose of this subcontract is to provide funding for case management and rapid rehousing services to those who are literally or at imminent risk of homelessness in Lewis County; and
WHEREAS, the purpose of this amendment is to (1) update the scope of work, (2) increase the overall budget, and (3) extend the contract end date; and
WHEREAS, the contract funding is increased by $82,000, for a revised maximum consideration of $257,000; and
WHEREAS, the revised contract duration is July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2027; and
WHEREAS, it appears to be in the best public interest to authorize the execution of said contract.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) hereby awards contract #H02-0258-25 amendment B to Housing Resource Center in the amount of $257,000 for a term of July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2027, funded through the Consolidated Homeless Grant. Upon approval and presentation of such a contract, the Director of Public Health & Social Services is authorized to sign the contract, attached hereto as Exhibit A, on behalf of the BOCC.
