This resolution will ratify an agreement, with Exeltech, a Bowman Company, for the 2026 Annual Structural Services, to include structural evaluations, structural design of facilities, bridge load ratings and inspections, and additional structural engineering and bridge program support as needed in the amount of $300,000.

Resolution

WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 25-087, approval from the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) is required for all contracts, projects, agreements, grant applications, contract amendments and change orders involving expenditures totaling between $50,000 and $350,000; and

WHEREAS, a Request for Qualifications was published on January 8, 2026, to solicit submittals from consultants with expertise in Structural Engineering services as County projects are scheduled or as circumstances emerge that require professional structural services; and

WHEREAS, Lewis County Public Works does not have the required resources to complete this work within the scheduled time; and

WHEREAS, on May 18, 2026, the Director of Public Works approved Agreement Number STRUCT2026 with Exeltech, a Bowman Company, for the 2026 Annual Structural Services, to include structural evaluations, structural design, bridge load ratings and inspections and other work in the amount of $300,000.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the BOCC hereby approves the attached Agreement Number STRUCT2026 with Exeltech, a Bowman Company, for the 2026 Structural Services in the amount of $300,000, funded by the Roads fund, and previously executed by the Public Works Director.
