Resolution

WHEREAS, the Lewis County Public Works Department operates the Equipment Rental and Revolving (ER&R) Fund, through which vehicles and equipment are purchased, maintained and replaced; and

WHEREAS, the Public Works Director has revised language in the previously adopted ER&R Fund policy, as overtime, edits are required; and

WHEREAS, the policy applies to vehicles owned by the ER&R Fund and does not apply to vehicles owned and maintained outright by a department or office; and

WHEREAS, the Public Works Director recommends the Board of County Commissioners rescind Resolution 23-303 and adopt the revised ER&R Fund policy, attached hereto.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners hereby rescinds Resolution 23-303 and hereby adopts the new ER&R Fund policy effective June 2, 2026.
