WHEREAS, the Lewis County Auditor currently maintains a revolving fund in the amount of $2,100.00 to conduct daily business transactions within the various departments of the Auditor’s Office, as authorized by Resolution 24-370; and

WHEREAS, the Auditor's Office has a need for an increase in petty cash due to the addition of two vehicle licensing workstations; and

WHEREAS, the Auditor’s Office requests an additional $600.00, of which $400.00 will be allocated to vehicle licensing and $200.00 to the recording and filing petty cash drawers; and

WHEREAS, the Lewis County Auditor Revolving Fund will thereby be increased to $2,700.00, with $2,000.00 allocated to the Licensing department and $700.00 allocated to the Recording and Filing department.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners hereby rescinds and replaces Resolution 24-370 and authorizes an increase of $600.00 in petty cash; and

NOW THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Lewis County Auditor Revolving fund shall be increased to a total of $2,700 and the additional cash will be requested from the Lewis County Treasurer’s Office.
