APPROVE CONTRACT #C15-0245-25 AMENDMENT A BETWEEN COASTAL COMMUNITY ACTION PROGRAM (CAP) AND LEWIS COUNTY
WHEREAS, the Lewis County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) has reviewed contract #C15-0245-25 amendment A between Coastal CAP and Lewis County; and
WHEREAS, the Department of State Health Services (DSHS), Developmental Disabilities Community Services Division contracts with Lewis County to oversee the administration of grant money for services provided to individuals with developmental disabilities; and
WHEREAS, the purpose of this subcontract is to provide funding for Coastal CAP to provide Supported Employment & Community Inclusion Services; and
WHEREAS, the purpose of this amendment is to increase funding by $83,000, for a revised maximum consideration of $248,000; and
WHEREAS, the contract duration is July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026; and
WHEREAS, it appears to be in the best public interest to authorize the execution of said contract.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) hereby awards contract #C15-0245-25 amendment A to Coastal CAP in the amount of $248,000 for a term of July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2026, funded through the DSHS grant. Upon approval and presentation of such a contract, the Director of Public Health & Social Services is authorized to sign the contract, attached hereto as Exhibit A, on behalf of the BOCC.
