APPOINT TODD CHAPUT TO THE PACIFIC MOUNTAIN WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL
WHEREAS, the Lewis County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) appoints individuals to serve on the Pacific Mountain (PacMtn) Workforce Development Council; and
WHEREAS, the BOCC appointed former Lewis County Economic Alliance Executive Director Richard DeBolt to serve on the PacMtn Workforce Development Council via Resolution 24-469 on Dec. 17, 2024; and
WHEREAS, Todd Chaput, who has succeeded Richard DeBolt as the Executive Director of the Economic Alliance, has expressed a willingness and desire to serve on the PacMtn Workforce Development Council following Richard DeBolt's departure from said board; and
WHEREAS, it appears to be in the best public interest to appoint Todd Chaput to the PacMtn Workforce Development Council.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the BOCC hereby appoints Todd Chaput to the Pacific Mountain Workforce Development Council for the remainder of Richard DeBolt's three-year term, which expires June 30, 2026; and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED once Todd Chaput's term ends on June 30, 2026, he will immediately begin a new three-three term on the Pacific Mountain Workforce Development Council, with that term to expire June 30, 2029.
