WHEREAS, Lewis County established a petty cash fund in the amount of $300 for Vader Water Utility Fund No. 4200 via Resolution No. 14-134 to provide change for utility payments; and

WHEREAS, Public Works has experienced a need for an increase in petty cash due to the addition of a new cash drawer to create segregation of cash handling duties; and

WHEREAS, Public Works requests to add $300 to be assigned to Vader Water Utility.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners rescinds and replaces Resolution 14-134, hereby authorizing the increase of $300 in petty cash; and

NOW THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Vader Water Utility petty cash fund will be increased to a total of $600 and the additional cash will be requested from the Lewis County Treasurer’s Office.
