Summary:

The Wildwood Road MP 10.14 Bridge Scour Project, CRP 2159S, which is to be funded by FHWA, will require additional right of way for repairs.  Scour repairs for the bridge are necessary to maintain vehicular access and protect public safety along Wildwood Road. The project will require additional right of way from two property owners.  This resolution instructs the County Engineer to acquire the necessary right of way from two property owners.

Resolution

WHEREAS, scour repairs for the Wildwood Road Bridge are necessary to maintain vehicular access and protect public safety along Wildwood Road; and

WHEREAS, the proposed work will require acquisitions from two adjoining landowners; and

WHEREAS, this project is priority number 1 within the adopted and amended 2026-2031 Six-Year Transportation Improvement Program; and

WHEREAS, this resolution instructs the County Engineer to acquire additional right of way as shown on the attached Exhibit from two property owners along Wildwood Road.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the County Engineer is instructed to acquire all right of way necessary for the Wildwood Road MP 10.14 Bridge Scour Project, CRP 2159S, in Section 24, Township 12N, Range 2 West, W.M. and part of the W. Murphy D.L.C., and directs that all such acquisitions be in accordance with adopted procedures as per Resolution 20-149.
