Summary:

Lewis County plans to complete a bridge repair project at Ceres Hill Road MP 0.79. It will be necessary to close Ceres Hill Road at the bridge to all through traffic during this period. Ceres Hill Road will remain open for local access from either end up to but not beyond the point of closure at MP 0.79. This resolution would, pursuant to RCW 47.48.010 and .020, close Ceres Hill Road at MP 0.79 in Section 23, Township 13N, Range 04 West, W.M., beginning March 23, 2026, and ending August 15, 2026.

Resolution

WHEREAS, RCW 47.48.010 gives authority to the county legislative authority to close roads for a period of time; and

WHEREAS, it is necessary for Lewis County to complete a bridge repair on Ceres Hill Road at MP 0.79; and

WHEREAS, it will be necessary to close Ceres Hill Road at the bridge, MP 0.79 to all through traffic during the period of such work; and

WHEREAS, Ceres Hill Road will remain open for local access from either end up to but not beyond the point of closure at MP 0.79, and other county roads are available for detour.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that, pursuant to RCW 47.48.010 and .020, beginning March 23, 2026, and ending August 15, 2026, Ceres Hill Road MP 0.79 shall be closed to all through traffic in Section 23, Township 13N, Range 04 West, W.M.
