WHEREAS, Lewis County, in its ongoing commitment to efficient operations, occasionally identifies personal property that is no longer required for county activities; and

WHEREAS, in accordance with Lewis County Code 3.30.170 pertaining to the Management and Disposition of Property, it is necessary for the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) to officially declare such property as surplus before proceeding with disposal when each item is valued at less than $5,000; and

WHEREAS, the IT Director, having thoroughly assessed the attached Exhibit A, comprising personal property items valued at less than $5,000, has recommended their surplus declaration due to their lack of present and foreseeable future relevance to the county's needs.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the personal property listed in Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein has been declared surplus by the BOCC; and

NOW THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the IT Director is authorized to dispose of the aforementioned items in adherence with Lewis County Code, Chapters 3.30.120 and 3.30.170.
