WHEREAS, Lewis County applied for grant funding for grading, paving and fencing improvements in the Friendlyville area of the SWW Fairgrounds from the Department of Agriculture in the amount of $250,000; and

WHEREAS, the County’s application for the Washington State Department of Agriculture (WSDA) grant to fund improvements to the Friendlyville area of the Southwest Washington Fairgrounds was approved by the Department of Agriculture in the amount of $250,000; and

WHEREAS, within the grant application, the county suggested a match of $15,000 in skilled trade labor, which is cited in the agreement.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that Lewis County accepts the grant funding from the Washington State Department of Agriculture in the amount of $250,000 and authorizes the Capital Infrastructure Specialist to sign the contract, attached hereto as Exhibit A.
