WHEREAS, periodically, Lewis County has the personal property, vehicles and equipment that are no longer needed within the County's operations; and

WHEREAS, Lewis County Code, Chapter 3.30, Management and Disposition of Property requires that the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) declare such property surplus prior to disposal under said code; and

WHEREAS, the listings of property attached as Exhibit A and Exhibit B have been recommended as surplus to the County's needs now, and in the foreseeable future, by the Facilities Manager.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the vehicles listed in Exhibit A and the personal property and equipment listed in Exhibit B, attached hereto and incorporated herein, has been declared surplus by the BOCC; and

NOW THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Facilities Division Manager is authorized to dispose of the listed items to be sold via public auction.
