Resolution

WHEREAS, the Lewis County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) established the Dangerous Animal Designation (DAD) Board via Resolution 18-351 on Nov. 26, 2018, in an effort to enhance public participation in the dangerous animal designation process according to Lewis County Code, Chapter 6. 05 Animals; and

WHEREAS, the BOCC appointed Jon Sargeant of Chehalis to the DAD Board via Resolution 22-029 on Feb. 1, 2022; and

WHEREAS, Jon Sargeant's term expired Dec. 31, 2025, and he has expressed an interest and a willingness to continue serving as a full-time member of the DAD Board; and

WHEREAS, it is in the public's best interest to reappoint Jon Sargeant as a full-time member of the DAD Board.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the BOCC hereby reappoints Jon R. Sargeant as a full-time member of the DAD Board for a three-year term expiring December 31, 2028.
