Resolution

WHEREAS, the past management of the Lewis County Airport System has been a joint endeavor between the City of Toledo, the City of Winlock, and the Government of Lewis County, with oversight of the Lewis County Airports to include the Lewis County Airport Advisory Board; and

WHEREAS, the City of Winlock has since divested itself of participation in the management of said airports, withdrawing officially from all participation in the management responsibility; and

WHEREAS, the City of Toledo has since divested itself of participation in the management of said airports, withdrawing officially from all participation in the management responsibility; and

WHEREAS, Lewis County has become the only remaining governing entity in the decision-making capacity of said airports.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED it is in the best interest of Lewis County to dissolve the Lewis County Advisory Board and allow the Director of Public Works to manage the Lewis County Airport System under the oversight from the Board of County Commissioners.
