Resolution

WHEREAS, the Lewis County Board of County Commissioners has reviewed a proposed collective bargaining agreement between Lewis County, acting through the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office, and the Lewis County Corrections Guild; and

WHEREAS, the agreement establishes wages, hours, and working conditions for Corrections Guild employees for the period of January 1, 2026, through December 31, 2026, and it appears to be in the best interest of Lewis County and the public to approve the agreement.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners hereby approves the collective bargaining agreement with the Lewis County Corrections Guild, effective January 1, 2026, through December 31, 2026, attached hereto, and authorizes the Chair to sign the agreement on behalf of the Board.
