Resolution

WHEREAS, the Lewis County Board of County Commissioners has reviewed a proposed collective bargaining agreement between Lewis County and AFSCME Local 1341, representing certain employees of the Department of Public Works and the Department of Community Development; and

WHEREAS, the agreement establishes wages, hours, and working conditions for the period of January 1, 2026 through December 31, 2027, and appears to be in the best interest of Lewis County and its employees to authorize its execution.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners hereby approves the collective bargaining agreement with AFSCME Local 1341, effective January 1, 2026 through December 31, 2027, attached hereto as Exhibit A, and authorizes the Chair to sign the agreement on behalf of the Board.
