WHEREAS, the entire roof of Central Shop is in poor condition due to years of exposure and has exceeded life expectancy; and

WHEREAS, Lewis County has requested bids from the Small Works Roster for provision of such materials and labor deemed necessary to meet the requirements, scope and specifications of said project and received the following bids from:

The Roof Dr, Inc. of Chehalis, Wash.                     $150,400.00

Scholten Roofing Inc. of Lyden, Wash.                 $156,896.00

Safecover of Chehalis, Wash.                               $199,900.00

 ; and

WHEREAS, the bids have been reviewed by the Facilities staff and appear to be responsive and meet the requirements of the project.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC), that the County awards the contract for the Central Shop Roof Replacement Project to the Roof Doctor. Inc. of Chehalis, Wash; and

NOW THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Chief of Internal Services is hereby authorized to sign said contract on behalf of the BOCC.
