Resolution

WHEREAS, Lewis County Code 12.20 and RCW 36.55 require that all utility installations in county rights of way be authorized by a franchise from Lewis County; and

WHEREAS, An application for a franchise has been received by the Board of County Commissioners from Cardinal FG Company to construct, operate and maintain natural gas utility facilities in Lewis County rights of way; and

WHEREAS, A hearing was set for November 25, 2025, by Resolution No. 25-297, dated October 28, 2025, all required notices were given to the public, and the BOCC conducted the hearing on November 25, 2025.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED the Board of County Commissioners approves the Resolution to grant a franchise to Cardinal FG Company to construct, operate, and maintain natural gas utility facilities in Lewis County rights of way; approves the attached nonexclusive franchise agreement; and authorizes the BOCC to sign the agreement.
