Summary:The Washington State Healthcare Authority (HCA) contracts with Lewis County to oversee the administration of Criminal Justice Treatment Account (CJTA) funds to provide treatment and recovery support services to individuals involved in the criminal justice system in accordance with RCW 71.24.580.
This subcontract provides funding to Cascade Community Healthcare to provide substance use disorder assessments, and individual and group treatments for individuals incarcerated in the Lewis County Jail when such services are not covered by Medicaid or another funding source.

Resolution
APPROVE CONTRACT #C02-0263-25 BETWEEN CASCADE COMMUNITY HEALTHCARE AND LEWIS COUNTY
WHEREAS, the Lewis County Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) has reviewed contract #C02-0263-25 between Cascade Community Healthcare and Lewis County; and
WHEREAS, the Washington State Healthcare Authority (HCA) contracts with Lewis County to oversee the administration of Criminal Justice Treatment Account (CJTA) funds to provide treatment and recovery support services to individuals involved in the criminal justice system in accordance with RCW 71.24.580; and
WHEREAS, the purpose of this subcontract is to provide funding to Cascade Community Healthcare for substance use disorder assessments, and individual and group treatments for individuals incarcerated in the Lewis County Jail when such services are not covered by Medicaid or another funding source; and
WHEREAS, the contract duration is July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2027; and
WHEREAS, the total maximum consideration of this contract is $76,899; and
WHEREAS, it appears to be in the best public interest to authorize the execution of said contract.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) hereby awards contract #C02-0263-25 to Cascade Community Healthcare in the amount of $76,899 for a term of July 1, 2025, to June 30, 2027, funded through CJTA funds. Upon approval and presentation of such a contract, the Director of Public Health & Social Services is authorized to sign the contract, attached hereto as Exhibit A, on behalf of the BOCC.
