Call for bids were issued by the BOCC on July 1, 2019 by Resolution No. 19-178 for the purchase of one new self-propelled sweeper. The proposal was advertised in the Chronicle and the Lewis County website. Public Works received one responsive bid.

Resolution

WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution 19-178, calls for bids were issued July 1, 2019, for one new self-propelled sweeper; and

WHEREAS, bid quotations have been submitted by contractors as follows:

• Pape' Machinery ------- $60,109.32 

WHEREAS, this self-propelled sweeper was scheduled, budgeted, and approved for purchase in 2020 and will be purchased with ER&R funds.

NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that a contract for the purchase of one new self-propelled sweeper be awarded to Pape' Machinery in the amount of $60,109.32 to be purchased with ER&R funds. Upon presentation of contracts acceptable to the Board of County Commissioners, the Director of Public Works (or his designee) is authorized to sign on behalf of the Board of County Commissioners.
