APPROVE AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO WSAC AGREEMENT FOR ENERGY AUDITS IN THE LAW & JUSTICE CENTER AND THE HISTORIC COURTHOUSE
WHEREAS, on December 17, 2024, the Board of County Commissioners (BOCC) adopted Resolution No. 24-458, accepting a grant from the Washington State Association of Counties (WSAC) to conduct energy audits in the Law & Justice Center and the Historic Courthouse; and
WHEREAS, the 2024 Agreement between WSAC and Lewis County commenced on July 1, 2024, and was scheduled to terminate on June 30, 2025; and
WHEREAS, WSAC and Lewis County have mutually agreed to amend the Agreement to extend the termination date to June 30, 2026, with all other terms and conditions of the Agreement remaining unchanged.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Commissioners approves Amendment No. 1 to the WSAC Agreement, extending the termination date of the Agreement from June 30, 2025 to June 30, 2026, and authorizes the Chair of the BOCC to sign Amendment No. 1 on behalf of Lewis County.
